Getting started.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. Sign up with just your email and workshop name. You only add a card when you decide to subscribe.
How long is the free trial?
7 days. Full access to every feature with no limits, no card required.
What happens after the trial ends?
Your account is paused and read-only. Your data stays safe. Subscribe within 30 days to resume where you left off.
Do I need to install anything?
No. MekaHub runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or laptop. There is also a native iOS app on the App Store if you prefer.
How long does setup take?
Under 10 minutes. Sign up, add your workshop details, invite staff, and you are ready to take in your first job card.
Can I import customers from Excel?
Yes. Upload a CSV from the Customers page and map the columns. Phone, plate number, vehicle make and model are all supported.
Pricing and billing.
What is the pricing?
RM 99 per month, or RM 999 per year which saves about 16 percent versus paying monthly. Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial.
Is there a per-mechanic fee?
No. One flat price covers your whole workshop. Add as many mechanics as you need.
Is there a per-job fee?
No. Unlimited job cards, quotations, invoices, and bookings. No transaction caps.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly?
Yes. Change between monthly and yearly anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. The store handles the switch and any proration automatically.
Do I get a refund if I cancel?
Refunds are handled by the App Store (or Google Play). You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. Cancel any time from your Apple or Google account subscription settings.
What payment methods do you accept for the subscription?
Your subscription is billed through the App Store on iPhone, and Google Play on Android (coming soon). You pay with whatever card or payment method is set on your Apple or Google account, so there is nothing extra to set up.
Features.
Does MekaHub work for tyre shops?
Yes. Tyre-specific job cards capture brand, size, DOT code, and per-tyre position. Quotations and invoices follow the same flow as general service.
Does it work for body and paint workshops?
Yes. Body and paint job cards capture panel, paint code, colour, and damage notes with photos. Built for insurance jobs as well as private.
Can I assign jobs to specific mechanics?
Yes. Every job card has an assigned mechanic. The Jobs board shows what each mechanic is working on right now.
Can customers book online?
Yes. Every workshop gets a public booking page at your slug, for example mekahub.my/book/your-workshop. Share the link on Instagram, Facebook, or your Google profile.
Does it integrate with WhatsApp?
Yes. Send invoice links, booking reminders, follow-ups, and birthday promos straight from MekaHub. Templates are pre-written in Malay and English.
Can I send invoices via WhatsApp?
Yes. One tap shares a public invoice link with a pre-filled message. Customers can view the invoice without needing an account. They pay by cash or bank transfer and you record it done.
Does it track inventory?
Yes. Parts and consumables with stock levels, reorder alerts, and supplier records. Stock auto-deducts when added to a job card.
Does it support quotations?
Yes. Draft a quotation, share a public link, and convert to a job card or invoice with one click once approved.
Can I issue refunds?
Yes. Record full or partial refunds against any paid invoice. The refund is logged in your payment history and reflected in reports.
Does it handle SST?
Yes. Toggle SST per invoice at 0, 6, or 8 percent. Both the rate and the calculated tax amount are stored for clean audit trails.
How do customers pay?
You send the invoice link via WhatsApp, the customer pays by cash, bank transfer or cheque, and you record it in one tap. The payment is logged against the invoice and reflected in your reports.
Mobile app.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. A native iOS app for iPhone and iPad, built for mechanics to update job cards, snap photos, and check stock from the floor. Android support is planned for a future release.
Which platforms does the app support?
iPhone and iPad. Same Supabase backend, real-time sync with the web app. Android support is coming in a future update.
Do I need the app or can I use the web?
Either works. The web app has full functionality, the mobile app is faster for floor work. Most workshops use both.
Can my mechanics use the mobile app?
Yes. Invite them as staff, they log in with their own account, and only see what their role allows.
Does it work offline?
Partial. You can view recent job cards and customers offline, but creating or updating records needs a connection. Full offline mode is on the roadmap.
Security and data.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard security.
Where is my data stored?
On Supabase in the Singapore region. Low latency for Malaysian workshops and compliant with local data residency expectations.
Can other workshops see my data?
No. Row Level Security enforces tenant isolation at the database level. Every query is scoped to your workshop ID. Cross-tenant access is impossible.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is kept for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind. After that it is permanently deleted.
Can I export my data?
Yes. CSV export for customers, vehicles, invoices, and job cards from the Settings page. Your data is always yours.
What about backups?
Daily automated backups with point-in-time recovery for 7 days. Restores are handled by our team on request.
Multi-branch and staff.
Can I have multiple workshops on one account?
Not yet. V1 supports one workshop per account. Multi-branch is on the roadmap for V2.
How many staff can I add?
Unlimited. Add as many mechanics, cashiers, and admins as your workshop needs at no extra cost.
Can I set different access levels?
Yes. Four roles: owner, admin, mechanic, and cashier. Each role sees only what it needs to do its job.
Can my staff use the app from their phones?
Yes. Every staff account works on the web app and the native mobile app. Invite them by email and they set their own password.

Do you offer training?
Yes. Free onboarding call for new workshops in the first week. Group sessions and video walkthroughs are available anytime.
What is your support response time?
WhatsApp support is available Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm MYT. Most messages get a reply within an hour.

Yes. We ship customer-requested features every week. Send a message, we read every one.
