Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MekaHub.my ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Workshop Owner", "User") and MekaHub.my, a service developed and maintained by BalootMY Digital Agency (Registration No. NS0322595-U) ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

MekaHub.my is a cloud-based workshop management platform that provides:

  • Customer and vehicle record management
  • Job card creation and workflow management
  • Quotation and invoice generation
  • Manual payment recording (cash, bank transfer, cheque)
  • Online booking page for your customers
  • Inventory and parts management
  • Customer reminders and marketing tools
  • Staff management and role-based access
  • Business reports and analytics

3. Account Registration

To use MekaHub.my, you must:

  • Register with a valid email address and create a secure password
  • Provide accurate workshop information during onboarding
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the authority to bind your business to these Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial.

Subscription Plans

After the trial period, continued access requires an active subscription:

  • Monthly plan: RM 99/month, with a 7-day free trial for new accounts
  • Yearly plan: RM 999/year

Billing

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and inclusive of applicable taxes
  • Payment is processed by the Apple App Store, and Google Play on Android (coming soon), using the payment method on your store account

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings
  • Upon cancellation, you retain full access until the end of your current paid period
  • No refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period

Failed Payments

  • If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and provide a grace period to update your payment method
  • Continued failure to pay may result in suspension of your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use MekaHub.my to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations in Malaysia or your jurisdiction
  • Store or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use the platform to process payments for illegal goods or services
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without our written permission
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform using automated means

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into MekaHub.my, including customer records, vehicle information, job cards, invoices, and payment history.

We process your data solely to provide the platform services as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Upon account deletion, you may request a full export of your data in CSV format. We will process this request within 30 days.

7. Payment Processing

MekaHub.my integrates with third-party payment processors:

  • Apple App Store and Google Play (coming soon) for MekaHub subscription billing

When you configure these integrations, you agree to the respective terms of service of these providers. You are responsible for ensuring your use of these payment services complies with applicable laws, including Bank Negara Malaysia regulations.

MekaHub.my is not responsible for fees, disputes, chargebacks, or issues arising from transactions processed through these payment providers.

8. Intellectual Property

MekaHub.my, including its software, design, content, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property.

You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and display your workshop data solely to provide the platform services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

MekaHub.my is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
  • The results obtained from using the platform will be accurate or reliable

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, MekaHub.my shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MekaHub.my from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Payment remains outstanding after the grace period

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days notice of material changes via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
